Backstory
A lupo from Columbia, of the nearly-extinct Texas family, her first name is unknown. What is known is that Texas was a high-ranking enforcer of a mafia family in Siracusa, and had a past relationship with Lappland, before they had a falling out that ended in a brutal fight that Texas won. Sometime after that, Texas turned up in Lungmen, working as a courier for Penguin Logistics, trying to leave her violent past behind. However, Lappland eventually found her again, seeking to bring the "old" Texas back.
Gameplay
Texas is a Vanguard, of the Pioneer subclass, which means she is relatively cheap to deploy and able to generate up to 12 DP on her own with her skills. Her first skill, Charge γ, auto-generates 12 DP after enough seconds have passed. Her second skill, Sword Rain, not only generates DP, but stuns enemies in a modest range around herself, and deals extra Arts damage on top of that.
Trivia
- Texas name and likeness both reference the real-life Texas Wolf, a now-extinct subspecies of grey wolf.
- Texas usually walks around with a cigarette in her mouth except when attacking. In some regions, the cigarette is changed to a stick of Pocky due to laws about the portrayal of smoking in media. Both items normally cause canids to get sick, sometimes lethally so, when ingested.
