Do any of you guys know of any somewhat similar games, but with less completely batshit crazy art? Every time I see this game in my Steam list, I want to play it, but I just can't because the art turns me off completely.

Well, there are games with less poop out there, but they're also less amazing.

I don't think I would have played this game more than a couple of times if it wasn't for the art style, heavy on the poop and dead foetuses.

Sorry to be boring with a serious answer, but Dungeons of Dredmor is probably what you're looking for. An accessible roguelike with items that can get pretty crazy and zero poop I'm pretty sure. I think Dave quicklooked it.

They're both roguelikes the real difference is Dreadmore is turn based while Issac you rely way more on your reflex skills.

This, and to be fair, there could probably be a little poop in that game we just haven't found yet.
Turn based though a hell of a lot more fun for me than Binding of Isaac was(I still play both though)
