Haven't you heard? Last of Us apparently isn't actually a good game because people only liked it when it came out and then turned sour on it later on. Just like with Bioshock Infinite. I really don't understand why.

As far as excitement goes not even a little bit because I am basically going to buy the game tomorrow and then I have to wait two weeks for my fucking PS4 to get back from the repair center.

You're just reading asshole comments. A lot of people still love it, but don't comment about it as much as they did because it's a year old. It's nothing like bioshock infinite which had instant backlash. It's more like MGS4 or GTA4. There are a lot of people who like those games but don't talk about them anymore because they aren't new. But the assholes who never liked it and are mad that so many people liked it love to spew their shit in the comment section of any place that concerns said thing they hated.

Have to hand it to Ashley Johnson, she's a natural at live acting. Hope to see her in more stuff cause she's really good.

This is has the really awesome quality of being so sincere, that it's slightly cringe-worthy and incredible at the same time.

I'm really glad they're doing this.

They... started singing. I thought it was an interesting idea when I stumbled across this thread a few minutes ago but... er... they started singing and that was a bit much for me.

This was weird. If it's over, I'm not sure what the point was. I like how sincere they all are, and that's great, but for this... Eh, I don't know. Weird. I would have much rather they just talk about the game.

It was kind of fun. More than anything, I'm really glad to play it again tomorrow. But I haven't dreaded doing anything in long while.

Christ this game is good.

I enjoyed it. Would have been nice to have the whole cast there so they could do all the scenes but I thought what they did worked well enough.

I thought it was neat. Troy Baker is dreamy.

Just to be clear, that was the only instance of singing. You might already be aware, but that segment was in reference to a joke they played on Troy during development. They released a video of it sometime in the last year if you missed it. The rest of the show, that I can tell, was just them acting out scenes from the game (without the singing).

That was just great. I really enjoyed seeing the actors behind the characters go on stage performing different iconic scenes throughout the game. Seeing those scenes again, but with the actual actors, really instilled an appreciation in me for their work.

For anyone wanting to know what the special surprise is, taken from GAF and all but confirmed by Keighley. Spoilers of course.

This takes place 4 years after the ending.

So the big surprise wasn't TLOU movie teaser, UC4 gameplay, or a freebie to take home. It was a deleted scene acted out. It was from AFTER the final scene in the game. In the scene, Ellie is in her room at Tommy's place, listening to her iPod/CD player etc. Joel enters the room and wants to talk to Ellie. He brings out a guitar and sings a song(Troy Baker played the guitar AND sang in the voice. Fucking amazing). Joel shares a joke that he tells Ester, a woman he's now dating from the camp, with Ellie. "What's the bad thing about eating a clock? It's time consuming." They laugh, Joel leaves the room, and Ellie strums a string. End scene, end journey...perhaps.
