By now I didn't expect this to ever actually happen. Ragnar Tørnquist, maker of the Longest Journey and Dreamfall started his own company Red Thread Games to work on Dreamfall Chapters, under license from Funcom.

Seems like Funcom is more interested in making MMOs, so this sounds like good idea to me. Hopefully it will be just has good as the old ones.

I appreciate that it has taken this long and look forward to seeing what Ragnar and his new studio can do. Hopefully that cliff hanger is resolved.

Will the main character be a girl this time around, like in the original game? I'm kind of hoping that April doesn't make a return, her character development went a few steps in the wrong direction in Dreamfall.
