I've been pretty darn interested in The Saboteur since E3 & it's $20 @ WalMart.
Does it run any different betwixt the consoles? I'd probably pick it up for achievements unless it had better fidelity on the PS3 or something...
I can't believe Dark Void is $30 & Saboteur is $20. I thought Dark Void looked interested back @ E3 too, but we see how well that panned out.
The Saboteur
Game » consists of 7 releases. Released Dec 08, 2009
The Saboteur is a action-packed, free-roaming sandbox game that takes place in Nazi-occupied France during World War II. Drive the Nazis out of Paris through whatever means necessary as Irish mechanic-turned-race-car-driver-turned-soldier-of-fortune Sean Devlin.
Worth it for $20?
Hell yea its worth it. I'm definitely enjoying it, and $20 for this game is a steal. I actually post a blog about this recently

I'll have to pick it up...I wasn't sure if it was good or not. But the color scheme alone looks really interesting.
Its worth it. If you liked Mercinaries but got disapointed by the 2nd one (or enjoyed it somehow), you will probably like this.
Hey, I wrote a review on this a while back when i first got it.:

Having now completed it to its entirety (full 1000 points), I can assure you that if you thought it looked good, and you're none too fussy about perfect games, then I think you will find yourself having tonnes of fun with it.
It's a great game that I felt was very underrated for the most part. It has a few flaws, but it's fun as hell. $20 for it is a fucking steal.
"it's a fun game, though i find that it will take time for the "fun" to set in "My thoughts exactly. I played a little bit of this game when I got it for Christmas, and it certainly was fun, but that was after a few hours into the game. Sadly, I only started really having fun about the time I started getting new/better games to play.
So, if you don't plan on getting anything else for a while, I'd say it's definitely worth the price.
Finally got into the swing of it last night.
So much so that I can't figure out why I was finding so hard in the first place.
Definitely worth 20 bucks and then some.
I say what Ryan said in a podcast; It's got a lot of rough edges and no real new ideas but if you're going to start playing it, see it to the end. Things ramps up a lot when them Nazis throws everything they got at you.. Oh and the ending. Almost worth $20 alone imo.
Go for it.. through and through.
I spent a week going back and forth wondering if I should spend $20 on this game. The other night I decided to bite the bullet and I have been loving it since. I love the aesthetic of the world, and have been spending hours upon hours running around the French countryside, snapping Nazi necks and blowing shit up. The driving is similar to GTA3, except you want to stay on the road and not hit the French pedestrians you're trying to save. I think I've killed as many as the Nazis have executed in the streets. The stealth is interesting, not realistic, which makes it a bit more fun. I found the gun play surprisingly competent, but I try to avoid it because it doesn't fit my play style.
You really can't go wrong for $20.
holy crap! that's a lot of destroyed Nazi establishments. I think it was over 1300 when I added them up. I'm not sure I could ever get them all." Hey, I wrote a review on this a while back when i first got it.:

I played and beat it on a 5 day rental, but I would say the game is worth buying if you want to see the extra content that you don't get for renting. I kinda wish I hadn't played it yet so I could justify buying it at $20.
Ah, i'm so glad you asked this. This was going to be one of the first games I bought when I fixed my PS3, I've always had a soft spot for Pandemic, Mercs 1 was my favorite game when it was newer. I played that thing till it broke in half. Well, I found it broke in half one day. Fucking little brothers.
I purchased it for $20 a month ago and had an absolute blast with it. It has it's issues but for $20 I never doubted my purchase.
I'm a bit of a weird guy. I picked up Saboteur at the same time as Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2. Of the three games, Saboteur is the only one I've played and I don't regret that at all. Saboteur is a fun game and I really enjoyed it, for $20 I don't see the reason not to pick it up.
"Go for it... its a good game. Why can't games that I want to play from 6 months ago cost around $25?I'm not trying to sound fanboyish or anything, so don't take this the wrong way, but it's because those are Wii games. Prices don't drop nearly as fast on the Wii as they do on the 360 and PS3. In fact, a lot of the big Wii games still have never dropped in price. That's one thing I love about this set of consoles. Games literally drop in price faster than ever. Within 6 months, it's very likely you'll see a $20, $30, or even a $40 price drop on some awesome games. Within a year, the vast majority of games seem to be down to $20. I hardly ever pay full price for games anymore. It's awesome! It's too bad Nintendo hasn't really followed suit... though MadWorld dropped in price real quick, and so did Zack and Wiki before it became totally rare.I just got Muramasa for $37. I want Silent Hill: SS and Little Kings Story, but they are both fairly pricey."
