    Overview

The Space Under the Window is a piece of interactive fiction written by Andrew Plotkin. The game was created with Inform 6 and is available for free as a Z-code game file. Interpreters are available for a wide variety of platforms, and the game can also be played online using a web browser. The Space Under the Window is also the name of an ongoing collaboration art piece from March 1997 asking people to create various artwork interpreting the title, and naming their work after it. This was Andrew's take on the invitation.

    Gameplay

The game is called "interactive poetry" by some, since verbs usually used in interactive fiction are not used.
