What's with the Continuity? (Novels-Game, Game-Game)

#1 Posted by cakes1994 (3 posts) -

Hi all, I've read all but one of the "David Michaels" written works under the Splinter Cell franchise, and was curious about a couple things, like how events in those books and previous games (if at all) correspond  to what happens in Conviction...if you were planning on reading the books, or playing Double Agent,  there are minor spoilers.

- Didn't Grimsdottir get killed in (I believe) Splinter Cell: Fallout?
- what do the novels "Conviction" and "Endgame" have to do with the game Conviction?
-Didn't Lambert live when you shot/didn't shoot him in Double Agent? (I could never defuse the bomb at the end of that game)

The books aren't canon.
