    The tenth game in the Tony Hawk series, RIDE featured the use of a newly conceived skateboard peripheral in an attempt, by Activision, to reboot the series.

    Anyone ever play Top Skater when it was at the arcades? It reminds me of that game if it had a sequal. Anyone else agree?

    i have totaly played top skater. and having also played tony hawkes ride at my friends place, i have to say topskater was a far superior game.

    Let's face it, the only major group of people that will be buying this game will be parents buying it for their 8 year old kids who will most likely play it non-stop on xmas day and then leave it collecting dust until the next garage sale in spring.

    Hell yeah I played it. RIDE looks nowhere near as fun or functional as the real deal though. Wasn't there a skiing one too?

    I was expecting you to say Top Skater. Yeah.. too bad Ride is so broken and everything, though as a long-time THPS fan, I honestly didn't think it'd end up being any good.

    Is everyone saying Top Skater is better just because of the reviews for Tony Hawk?  I loved Top Skater myself but I have never even played Tony Hawk yet to compare.

    I played Top Skater once or twice. I don't remember it being that great either though.
