I saw Tony Hawk Ride for $20 at best buy, with the board. ive always been interested but it just hasn't  been at the right price, and here i am wondering if $20 might be the sweet spot... advice?

The fact that it's now $20 should tell you about the quality of the  game.

Yes get it. Sure the game is awful.  But think of the fun to be had in taking apart that board. 
 
You could probably use the parts to make some cool shit. If you are that way inclined.  If you are only interested in the game itself...... then no. Don't go anywhere near that heinous thing.
