Game » consists of 1 releases. Released Jun 29, 2000

TVDJ is an action/rhythm game that was only released in Japan by SCEI. An impressive early PS2 game, it has cel-shaded graphics and is fully voice acted. Unfortunately, the game is only a a handful of short 5-minute stages that end up feeling more like a mini-game.

    TVDJ is awfully good!

Wow, this game is so bad that it's good! The game launched at a very budget price (something like 2000 Yen) for the PS2 with great looking cel-shaded graphics and voice acting. The game is very simple to learn and not very cerebral but the joy of this game comes from watching the bizarre story. In TVDJ you play as a producer/DJ that mixes segments of the show together to make one cohesive (haha, good luck!) take.

If you live in Japan, chances are you can find this rare little gem in almost any Hard-Off or Book-Off used game section. If you are a fan of strange music/rhythm games like Parappa, Lammy, or Gitaroo-man, then you should definitely give TVDJ a try.
