I agree that her S.T.A.R.S. outfit is the best and that Jill with blond hair is not very Jill to me, but I will not agree that her RE3 outfit is better than anything. It's just awful.

Let us do a quick analysis here:

Decently matching blues in her skirt and tube top, and fashionable boots. Take away the fingerless gloves and police gear, and she looks ready for a casual day filled with pretty much anything but zombies. And then we have:

What the hell is even going on here? It's like Jill is trying to cosplay as Nina Williams. And the suit even highlights the curvature of her butt. There is individual cheek definition here.

I knew sweatered Phoenix Wright had to be a costume.

That "P" on his chest doesn't stand for Phoenix anyways.

@Hailinel: @SuperWristBands: @kingzetta: I'm kinda bummed we didn't get S.T.A.R.S. Jill instead since we already have S.T.A.R.S. Chris and Wesker but it makes sense since they need to keep her control device visible.

@Heartagram: The remaining costumes are going to probably be broken up into 8-9 packs for close to $5 each. They're likely to cost more in total than the game lol.

@StarvingGamer: Yeah I feared as much. Capcom is crazy with their costume pricing I usually don't buy them because it's just too expensive for a game I only play 3 or 4 characters.

@Heartagram: Yeah, if you're lucky the characters you play might all be in the same pack but probably not. I use almost every character eventually so it makes a little bit more sense for me to waste my money.

It's still a waste of money though.

Well, it's not like Capcom fans weren't crazy to begin with. If you're way into, you'll buy it, Capcom knows it. It's still dirty, despite being a now trademark of that company.

It's funny how all these Japanese publishers (Capcom, Namco-Bandai, etc.) cannot understand that creating DLC that provides good value will sell much better in the long run. Japanese consumers still haven't accepted it and this certainly isn't going to help.

I think the call of trolling is that people wanted Mega Man to be in the game as a character. People see the inclusion of Mega Man in the background of a stage and Mega Man X as a DLC alternate costume as Capcom denying them of a playable character. Some people see it as Capcom adding content and some people see it as Capcom taking away content and locking a portion of what they wanted behind DLC. The latter are the folks who claim Capcom is trolling.

It's been fairly common to see people get angry about the alternate color schemes that pay homage to other characters. The Rainbow Mika colors for Trish, the Chuck Green colors for Frank West, and the Sissel colors for Phoenix Wright were met with angry responses of "Why did you give us these colors? Why aren't these characters in the game?". I am sure a lot of people got angry about Amaterasu's John Talbain alternate costume in the same way. Capcom loves their characters and, even if they can't technically add the character to the game, they want to make them a part of the game. The cards in Heroes and Heralds are a sign of that devotion. The fact that they have cards for Sasquatch and Kenji shows that Capcom appreciates its own history and seeks to reward people who love that history as much as they do.

i really do like that house of m magneto.... kinda reminds me of guiles alt 3

and hawkeyes ronin alt looks cool as well

@VicRattlehead: YES! Hawkeye's Ronin alt is awesome... I just don't think it goes with anything else my possible team would have... lol

The remaining costumes (including pre-order DLC) are gonna be divided into 9 packs of 4 and one final pack of 6 for $4. At the end of the release cycle they're going to do a mega-pack of all the costumes for $20 as well.

I updated the wiki with all the groupings and release dates.

When I was playing on the Days of Future Past stage, I noticed that the characters on the poster are from MvC2 that didnt make it, i noticed that Mega Man didn't have apprehended or slain on it, wonder if it could mean anything? on the flip side, it said Cyclops was slain :(

@xhavoc86: Capcom reps said that Mega Man being on the poster was just them doing a little gentle trolling and not to read too much into it.

If anything, the fact that Zero has an X alt basically means that 100% he can't be in the game. It would be too confusing otherwise. I can imagine a different Mega Man as DLC though, maybe .exe or Starforce.

@StarvingGamer: do you know if they'll add any more dlc characters at all?

@xhavoc86: No announcements have been made. Any time they were asked during interviews Capcom reps have said that they're going to wait and see how UMvC3 does before making any plans.
