    Um Jammer Lammy

Um Jammer Lammy is a rhythm based game that takes place in the PaRappa game series world and tells the story of an all girl pop rock band, Milk The game has very humorous music tracks, co-op gameplay, and a lot of unlockables to ensure many hours of gameplay.

Um Jammer Lammy may not get you on its’ approach to guitar rhythm gameplay, but its’ charm leaves a long lasting impression. The game’s protagonist, Lammy (seemingly a lamb type creature), is a girl that is in a band called Milk Can with her two best friends, Ma-san and Katy Katt. Lammy is similar to Parappa in that she lacks confidence to believe that she can overcome the obstacles of every day life.

The game has seven stages that increase in difficulty and upon completing the game you can play a variety of co-op modes as well as being able to play through the game as Parappa. Throughout the game, Lammy acquires items that allow her guitar to use effects like distortion or waa-waa – but these aren’t really necessary for beating the stages they are simply there for a bonus.

Um Jammer Lammy is not a game that has an incredible story or breakthrough gameplay elements but the game’s humor and charm is definitely worth playing through if you are a fan of Rodney Greenblat’s quirky style.
