a great concept
the idea behind this game is fantastic and the storyline is rather interesting...at the beginning. very quickly this game becomes bogged down with unnecessarily complicated controls and the actual system for keeping track of the game progress and activity simply isnt there. many times i attempted to create units and found myself either on the wrong building, not having that building anymore or lacking the resources to perform. collecting resources is ultra easy as long as your enemies let you, otherwise it simply wont happen. even completing your mission objectives can be ridiculously hard. normally on an rts i immediately play a free range game, just a normal skirmish. when i attempted this on this game i simply was decimated within minutes on easy mode :/
ive played many great and terrible rts games all the way from age of empires 1 to the now halo wars(which is superb) and this one wins the golden star of underachievement, the idea was there, the execution simply wasnt.
