9 hours later and I finished VA-11 HALL-A. I can't remember the last time I finished a game that quickly, maybe Bioshock Infinite? And just like Infinite, I didn't want it to end. There was something comforting about this game. I had genuine glee whenever Dorothy would pop up. Jill opening a three year old wound and knowing there would be next to no closure made me pause and have mild existential thoughts. The ending was a little abrupt for me though. I thought we would see Gaby with everyone; have everyone from Jill's present interact with someone of her past.

I'm curious what New Game+ means for a game like this. Hopefully I can pay my electric bill this time. I wonder how you get the other endings. It sucks that I saw one of the endings via twitter. You can kind of predict it but it would've been nice to properly see it.

I initially bought this early last year because of the setting and the music. Now it stands as one of my favorite games of the past few years. Dorothy should be mentioned for Best New Character. Garoad deserves to be one of the runner-ups for Best Music. I hope Giantbomb takes a look at this soon.
