Vagrus - The Riven Realms is a 2D strategy RPG indiegame developed by Lost Pilgrims Studio.
The players in the game manage a comitatus - a caravan of sort - through desolate lands facing all kinds of dangers. The game has three main pillars: branching narrative (choose your own adventure kind of stories), turn-based combat, and resource management. Other core features are the hand-crafted digitally painted campaign map, the distinctive art style, and the amazing music.
Perhaps what makes Vagrus the most unique is it's dark fantasy world: The Riven Realms. It is a new IP with no prior publications, though it has been in development in the form of a table-top RPG setting for over two decades by the founders of the studio .
The game is in Alpha development state (as of March 2019) with a playable demo available via multiple indie game portals for fans to try (https://vagrus.com/demo).
Vagrus is launching its crowdfunding campaign on Fig.co in April 2019.
