I was totally expecting this game to be absolutely crazy to look at, but even after spending just an hour or so with it I am already blown away. Ships crashing into the battlefield, rocketboosting from place to place, thousands of missiles flying every which way.  I'm loving it. Can't wait to see more.

Upgrade system is crazy too.

Yeah, the upgrades were nuts too. Are they permanent?

Best game no one played.

I've played around an hour of it a few months back, haven't gone back in since. Gonna try and finish it when my semester finishes.

I can't believe I never played this game, it seems like it'd be awesome. Maybe I'll pick it up for the summer.

It's pretty hard, too. Learning to use the abilities they give you to the fullest helps a ton.

I love this game so much. I played it twice in a row. I should have put it somewhere on my top 10 list. 

Yeah it is! One of my favourite games of 2010, I'm re-playing it on Hard difficulty right now.

I love that at the end of act 1, (spoiler?) the bad guy gets away and the main character goes "Fuck me!"

Flat out balls out bat shit insane.

And it features Hitlery Clinton at her most evilest. What more do you want?

It's a mind warp on the 3rd Person Shooter. Taking everything to the extreme adding in a dose of humor, whilst taking itself so seriously that it couldn't possibly be serious. 

Gears of War 3 ain't got shit on this game. No matter how Xtreme or Bro-tastic that game gets, it will still fall short of the charmingly self aware style of Vanquish. 

Effectively this game has just taken a big shit over 3rd Person Action games, heck action games wholesale, and did it whilst taking the piss out of itself. It just trolled videogames en masse mofo's and succeeded.

It's my 2010 GOTY. Fantastic game, very replayable and damn near impossible on the highest difficulty.

Made this game my Best game of 2010, wish I could play this game again... :(

This game gave me the same level of satisfaction when I played the first DMC, just going head first into loads of bad guys and kicking the shit out of them. So, so much fun to play.

Played the demo a while back and replayed the demo, then again, and again and again and wish i hadn't forgot about it :( Going to gamestop to buy it soon since it was like 25$ new

Play it on the harder difficulties / challenges if you want to see what Vanquish really has to offer.

I loved my playtrough of the campaign its just a shame that the replay value is so low, wish there were more arena like enviroments instead of narrow hallways and paths and that there was some randomisation in the enemies. from what ive seen on the hard difficulty every replay plays out exactly the same wich was sort of a bummer.  For 20 euro its a absolute musthave for its amazing campaign
