    VBS2 (Virtual Battlespace 2) is a piece of GOTS (Goverment Off the Shelf) software that is used for training soliders. It can be used in both simlators or as a stand alone product. It supports DIS/VDIS traffic to interface with other tactical simulation systems.

    Both the US and UK provide releasable copies to members of the Defense Industry. The US varient is Army Lite and the UK provides JCOVE. Both are limited to 12 network users and removes DIS/VDIS network protocols.
