    Vera Pacheco has worked as an assistant animator in many films, TV series, and in the Dragon's Lair series of video games. She performed in Dragon's Lair as the voice of Princess Daphne, who had been captured by the dragon, Singe. Vera Pacheco has often worked under the screen names Vera Laphner and Vera Law.

    Vera Pacheco's three video game credits include animation and voice work for Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II: Timewarp, and Dragon's Lair 3D: Return To The Lair. Dragon's Lair began as an arcade game that used Laserdisc technology to show fully hand-drawn animated scenes as the graphics for the game. In Dragon's Lair, Dirk The Daring ventures deep within a castle full of magic and monsters to rescue Princess Daphne, who is being held captive by the dragon Singe. Before the game's climactic final battle, Princess Daphne offers a few words of encouragement and advice to Dirk. She looks on from her prison as Dirk valiantly slays the dragon, and sets her free.
