So they announce the title, creative talent, planned 2013 release and also hype it as a trilogy?     All I can say is good luck.   I feel like I've seen this formula crash and burn way more than I've ever seen succeed. Games like too human, advent rising, mirrors edge, epic mickey, and others come to mind of having (big name) creators announce plans for trilogy years before the first product is ever released.   Meanwhile games like uncharted, halo, bioshock and many others that only concern themselves with that one game end up turning in a product that is so liked that there is no other choice but to turn them into franchises.   Granted there is always the other examples where planned trilogy seems to be working just fine, ie Mass Effect.

Guillermo del Toro sucks.  Fucking trilogy...I don't even care about the first game.

Pretty sure there are going to be people bitching about this trailer, but were getting boners at those VGA award trailers with no gameplay shown.

2013? They do know the world ends in 2012, right?

Well, since this told me nothing about the game I can only speculate...
 
but hopefully this will be the trippy-scare-the-pants-off-you game I've been holding out for since Condemned 2 came out; amnesia was just....not scary once you stopped playing by their rules.

Huh, I guess that is an eye! For some reason the still image looked like a cartoon cactus-shaped man screaming to me.

Knowing some of Guillermo del Toro's stuff it's probably be some kinda lovecraftian horror thang.

why do I caaaaaaaare. I was worried this game would be preceded by some big titties or something and here we go on a big rollercoaster of hype for three years or maybe longer.  show me some substance next time.

A video game trilogy? Hopefully this will be as good as the Shenmue trilogy, the Advent Rising trilogy, and the Too Human trilogy.
