DO WANT.

Posted by VooDooPC

35 minutes is nearly an hour?? That's some rounding up alright!

Posted by ll_Exile_ll

I really want to watch this, but I also really don't want to. I already know I'm getting this game day 1, no need to spoil anything. But... 35 minutes... of gameplay....... I am going to watch this, aren't I?

Edited by Davosplat

Holy CRAP BATMAN! I'm onboard. Again.

I really have to sit down and beat Witcher 2...

NAH SON!

Now lets talk about the definition of the word "nearly". :D

35 minutes is the new hour.

Posted by KarlPilkington

Man, I want to watch all of this but I don't have nearly an hour to spare.

Posted by Nux

I should really finish The Witcher 2.

Posted by Pirateogta

I would consider 50 minutes nearly an hour. 35 minutes? Nah.

Edited by SpaceCouncil

the thing that scares me about this game is...... its still a Witcher game.

Posted by BrianP

I bought it on ebay last night for 26.99 just waiting to install!!! i cant wait, i not watching any trailers and avoiding all info about it.

Wait, what?

I'm having a hard time understanding Patrick's definition of the term hour.

Posted by SneakyPickle

@counterclockwork87: the new tag isnt much better "Yep, that more than a half hour of footage from CD Projekt RED's ambitious open world sequel."

Posted by DrBeardface

What's the problem? An hour is 40 minutes in Chicago, everybody knows this.

hey guys what's going on in here

That demo is a great representation of the Witcher world. Fucked up shit guaranteed to happen!

I really hope the console version is somewhat comparable. There's no way I'll have a strong-enough PC for this game.

"Pick one quest and another may perish."

No, knock that shit off. Those aren't fun game play choices to make in any sense of the word.

As a Welshman, I find endless amusement in The Witcher 2 (and as evidenced by this video, The Witcher 3) being rammed full of my homeland's various regional accents. It's one of the extremely few series I've played that has any at all.

Posted by MichaelBach

Never played a Witcher game before, but this looks like a must get!

Posted by DrBeardface

Does anyone know if there are story spoilers from past games? I've got them loaded up, just haven't found the time to dig in yet. No one tell me if the Witcher survives the first game, I wanna be surprised!

@nux: Me too. Roche or Iorveth?

Yes they are. I want the choices to actual have consequences. I don't want it to be like Skyrim where you can do pretty much everything yet none of it means a thing.

Not at all what I was talking about. The split for chapter 2 in Witcher 2 was perfect, but that doesn't sound like simply picking time limited quests in a quest hub of the game.

That actually leads to something else all together though. Given the vastly different endings you can have in Witcher 2 in terms of the geopolitics of the north, how is that actually going to be reflected in 3?

this is barely a half hour!!

@jonny_anonymous: This is why I enjoy the Witcher games so much, actual consequences to decisions that meaningfully affect the story/quests. This also results in much better writing/storytelling since some actual thought has to go into it. Just like you mentioned games like Skyrim (or recent Bioware games) have a bunch of lazy quests that do nothing or very little to help make an unique and interesting story.
