I've never watched a single trailer for this game and now that I have, I still don't know a damn thing about it.

I loved Armored Core on the PS2. Such a fun game, at least as I remember it.

@Wandrecanada: Jeff didn't mention the genitals in his description. His threat only mentions a punch to the throat. Either way, a punch is the consequence if you use the specified phrase.

Did anyone else let out a snort and a laugh when "From The Makes of Dark Souls" came up?

They can slather on all the splashy video effects and artifacting they want, but the blandness of those environments still don't inspire a lot of confidence.

Played Armored Core V, I love it!

The fact that it is from the Dark Souls guys is the only thing that made me interested enough to watch the trailer..... halfway through..

Wow, That's a weird trailer. It has all the things movie trailers use to create an idea of a great movie. Mentioning a completely unrelated product that is tied to a company, non-descriptive quotes from articles, fast cuts of action moments and even a music track that somehow combines the requiem for a dream score with a Lord of the Rings one. I hope the game is good but this trailer is pretty bad.

Graphically, this game kind of looks like shit.

I might get this just to support From. The Souls games are one of the best things to happen to this industry this generation.

I came in to say the exact same thing.

Also, I hadn't seen any media for this game since the debut trailer, and it's not quite what I was expecting. I would have enjoyed seeing a more "near-future" take on the franchise.

these robots aren't scrappy enough. i think that's the main reason i think hawken looks better. their robots looks dirty and rough. these robots look too clean. same with reign of thunder or whatever. these robots need more hard edges. mechs shouldn't have curves, they made of metal, they need to be structurally sound.

@AxleFGK: Hawken mainly looks better because of the visually extremely impressive level design. ACV looks like a touched up PS2 game. But looks aren't everyhing, I'm mildly interted in this game.
