@frostedminiwheats: They left out the part where Batgirl gets injected with illegal super-stem cell implants in South America and gets cured of paralysis in the New 52. So yes, the trailer is dumb. None of that backstory has anything to do with Injustice. That isn't even a version of Batgirl that exists in the comics. That isn't pre-paralysis nor New 52. Maybe she's one of the parallel universe characters, which would explain where you could be wearing those murderific blade-knuckles. Not a very Batperson-y thing to bring to a fight. So basically, the backstory they included probably doesn't even apply to the character they're showing off.

I gotta say this trailer turned me around on the decision to use Batgirl. I still would have preferred other characters, but she at least looks pretty fun to play and that Super is pretty great. Also the Killing Joke stuff is awesome. I've been reading the JLI stuff from that era and it's weird seeing ads for the Killing Joke in the middle of it.

Cool super move, dorky costume, but if this game has taught me anything about comic books, it's that DC heroes all look like clowns outside of the movies.

Yeah, where's Animal Man or Mirror Master or Swamp Thing or... ANYTHING? The character choices for this have been so boring. I would love Jack Knight Starman, or the Shade. Hell, if they have to put in another Batman character, why not Damian Robin or El Gaucho?

@frostedminiwheats : In the recent New 52 continuity, she somehow got unparalyzed. It's really dumb, Barbara was best as Oracle, Stephanie Brown Batgirl 4ever.

Killing Joke pack, so will that be killing joke joker, hospital outfit batgirl, and oldschool batman outfit?

Wait... this is super confusing. They begin the trailer with an introduction to Batgirl, which is good and reasonable. I don't know who Batgirl is, I'm not a comics guy. But then they cut to the gameplay and immediately retcon the thing that they JUST TOLD ME. Did she get... unparalyzed? Because last I checked (4 seconds ago) you were telling me that she got shot and was paralyzed. So who's this fighting game character? Is this just pre-paralysis Batgirl? Then how is she getting "payback" for that time Joker shot and paralyzed her?

Can't say I'm excited for Batgirl, but not having her on the list in the first place was a little odd.

I don't mind Batgirl, but I'd rather it be Supergirl instead.

Ugh, in a game full of Batman characters, Batgirl seems like a dumb and wholly unnecessary choice.

Probably two. And according to the leak, which so far happens to be spot-on, they're fucking Zod and MK Scorpion.

Does this mean that leaked list was real? I reckon this means, inevitably, Scorpion will be the last DLC character. Kind of a weaker online pass/character additions if the final two turn out to be who they are expected to be.

That said, Lobo is still a lot of fun to play.
