@davebgray: Why would they? The version here is straight out of the comics, like everything else in the Arkham games.

Game looks great.  Batman still walks like he's got a stick up his butt though.

I hope the Catwoman part of the game works. I have been hyped about the this game ever since I heard about it. But when I found out you have to play as Catwoman, I was a little disappointed. I thought this was Batman: Arkham City, not Batman: Arkham Kitty.  

Catwoman and Two-face feel..."off". It's weird how the rest of the game is modern batman, but these two are drawing straight from campy batman. They clash thematically with the rest of the game.

I think it looks better - the animations are good and they flow nicely into each other, it's especially great when Catwoman gets that finishing move on the last dude and the transition to walk is so damn slick.

I'm really loving the Catwoman character.  She exudes a certain deviance and uses her sexuality as another weapon in her arsenal.   I am comforted in seeing that she plays similar to Batman but that there are still some differences.  She's much more acrobatic while he is definitely more forceful.  When he hits someone, there's some weight to it.  The same wouldn't feel right for her so giving her the ability to fill up onto a foe's shoulders, wrapping her legs around their head before pummeling them unconscious seems more her style.  I like the whip too and appears to work a little differently than Batman's grappling hook maneuver.  I expect I'll be playing as many of the optional Catwoman missions as I can during the regular game.
 
All-in-all, a great video that has me excited to explore the world of Arkham City. 

Someone should tell Catwoman her zips come undone. She'll catch her death poor lass.

ALSO, I already hate the Catwoman character. Every other thing she says is a bad joke about cats or something suggestive. I get it, she's dressed as a cat and sex appeal defines 80% of her character.

Still not watching any of the trailers, I'll be playing this spoiler-free by golly!

Now I finally get the Open World thing. It's Open, but still cluttered with surprises.
