I've never played the originals completely suck at fighting games and only enjoy watching them.

Yet this trailer is so mesmerizing for some reason i've watched it dozens of times now, for a game I never intend to play.

From the screenshots it seems to be the first Vampire Savior and Vampire Hunter. That's neat.

These 2xSAI'ed sprites look awful, release an updated HD version or keep the original spirtes.

People are fans of the Darkstalkers games because of it's fast paced aggressive gameplay that deviated from other fighters from and since then, not just because of the artstyle. That's why Japanese players such as Daigo and Sakonoko rate Vampire Savior as their favorite fighting game.

I wouldn't consider this as a "new darkstalker", but I guess that is as far as Capcom is willing to go with that franchise.
I just hope this one is better than jojo and all those crappy ports from lately, otherwise its not worth my money.

Finally glad to see Capcom doing something with other franchises they've been sitting on doing nothing with for the longest time, strange though that the first Darkstalkers arcade isn't in this but still will get this when it comes out.

I think order of wanted games was Marvel vs Capcom 2, Capcom vs Snk 2, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, X men vs Street Fighter, The Alpha series, Darkstalkers, Jojo, and then Rival Schools

Marvel 1 isnt included because majority of players prefer XvS

As much as people want it, i *really* dont think a CVS2 remake would come out. Just my personal opinion. You are right though, more people would probably like CVS2, but i always disregard it as unrealistic.

Well, now I can use my cool arcade sticks when using this game as opposed to my dreamcast controllers. Sweet. I'd still like a new Darkstalkers, but considering how CAPCOM is faring these days, I will gladly take what I can get.

This is definitely a buy, but I already have DarkStalkers Chronicle: THe Dark Tower for PSP which is all three games in one collection.

FINALLY the Darkstalkers collection i hear a lot of people wanting (not gona deny it though i wouldnt mind seeing this) is finally coming!!! now all CAPCOM needs to do is make a single disc collection with ALL these 2d fighting (VSseries, SF1,2,3, DS1,2,3, JOJO, etc...)games that they released on XBLA and PSN.

No need for this release, and I like Darkstalkers.

It feels like I've almost died and gone to heaven....almost. As soon as we get a new installment, I'll consider myself truly dead simply because that can be the only explanation.

Also, I'm buying the fuck out of this game like you could not possibly believe.

Darkstalkers 3? Yes, all is good. I knew they would get around to this eventually, can't wait! I know I played the hell out of third strike online, all DS 3 needs is online play and done deal for me.
