Yep this is still a great trailer, I was thinking that there aren't a lot of like sad zombie movies, at least none that I've seen. It's really hard to make people feel an emotion without words.

its impossible to tell what the game is even about besides the zombies. how can you people say "this will be a great game I can't wait!" by seeing this trailer alone?

This game is going to be amazing just because of the cut scenes.

The trailer looks really crisp but I'd still rather see an adequate representation of what the game actually is.

Definitely a substantial emotional response - I'd say in my case that trailer worked exactly as intended.

I'm calling it right now. This is an actual gameplay trailer and the gimmick is you play it in reverse.

I cried :) Game HAS to be good! If not, then i'll simply buy it if this trailer is in it.

Wow I feel really....depressed after watching this trailer. It was well done....but damn.

The cg is pretty good.  The trailer certainly had me emotionally.  I got a coworker to look at it too.  He didn't seem as awe struck, but he's more of a horror guy than I.  It did make us discuss the future of gaming though, and with the increasing realism in games . . . how soon before politicians find their way back into trying to legislate them when the higher and higher realism . . in the two or three console/pc generations of graphics become so good, it'll be "too" immersive, too mentally and physically engaging that someone can't separate reality from 'holodeck'.  Somebody will be telling us think of the children as they treat the adults as such . . .

yeaaaa if little kids dying and shit is what this game is about you can count me out. sorry that's a little much for me.

I get a LOST with zombies vibe with this trailer. It's well done, no doubt, probably the best trailer for a video game to date. But, yeah, more zombies. Ugh.

Amazing trailer.  Game is irrelevant.  Be excited when (and if) you have a reason to be excited.

It's a good trailer, but people are starting to kill my goodwill towards it with all the hyperbole. I get irked once people start throwing the "B" word at it. Exaggerated praise aside, I like me some good zambie games regardless of whether it's in vogue or not. 

Probably the best and most emotional video game trailer I've ever seen.

The music and the family dynamic made it more emotional than I am used to seeing in a zombie game. Seems these guys may be able to hit some emotions with this one if they do it right; which would be interesting for the genre.

Everyone can call it however they like but I dig it.

I watched a reversed version of the trailer on YouTube. It was kinda like that easter egg on the Memento DVD that lets you watch the movie in chronological order. It's kinda neat to see once but it doesn't have the same impact.

I know it's been said a million times already, but it bears repeating because it's fucking true: this trailer is absolutely amazing. I've been following what little info there's been on the game since it was announced, so I'm beyond happy to see that it's finally going to get released. 
 
And zombies are still fucking awesome.

Something in this trailer has been done before, at least once. It's made to evoke an emotional reaction from the watcher. This means it's pretentious, because nothing should be created to create a reaction. Emotional reactions to entertainment should be accidental at best, If it's accidental we won't feel like a tool of the creators of said entertainment.
 
Only problem is, saying this trailer is pretentious also makes you a tool. So on the internet you can't really share an opinion about anything without being called out on it, forming your own opinions is dangerous because someone will undoubtedly tell you that "You didn't form them on your own! They were planted in your head!", trying their hardest to undermine anything you may think about a subject. and those people are in the same boat as you.
 
It's gotta suck when your job is spending years making a product for people like this, ergo people in general.

Everything is terrible and great at the same time, so is this trailer.
I guess the only thing I can say about this film is that models,textures,lighting and animation are of good quality, and that the trailer does it's job well of conveying it's message of horror and sorrow (anyone not seeing that is wilfully ignoring it), and I base this opinion on having studied both film and CGI.
 
TL;DR: Liking/hating this film is great/bad/dumb/genius, I thought it was good for what it was.

That trailer was pretty well designed... if only it weren't about zombies -.-
