I am SO FUCKING excited, YOU have NO idea!

It still seems super weird to me whenever there's a dude in a hand to hand fighting game who has a weapon, but doesn't use it all the time. I get the reasons why, but it just seems dumb. I would be never not using that sword! And don't give me the, "They don't want to kill" excuse.

Glad to see DOA finally getting a proper sequel, (albeit in 2012)but this looks much slower than prior iterations. Hope the final game wont be like that..

I hope it's not too much of a button masher, and is more of an strategic game experience than some of the last games.

I love DoA! Give me more! I wanna beat the hell outta my friends now!

Was never a big DoA fan, as the combat always felt floaty and too button-masher friendly. But I'll reserve judgement until I play this, of course.

Oh man, I'll be honest, I'm a little worried what Team Ninja under Koei is going to do with the franchise now that Itagaki is gone. Has Team Ninja even created a single character since he left? They've put out enough games in the meantime to make me worry about new fighters. The best they were able to do was putting Rio from the Tecmo casino games published in Japan into DOA Paradise. I don't have the greatest confidence in that group's originality.

$20 bucks says there's a Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors guest character.

Actually, he did forget how to fight. When he had amnesia, his character was renamed Ein. He forgot the Mugen Tenshin-style Ninjitsu that Kasumi and the rest of his clan uses. He ended up learning Karate at Hitomi's father's dojo and using that instead (Didn't remember moves, but his physical condition and reflexes were still top notch).

For DoA, this seems... kinda slow. But whatever, pre-alpha and all that, really interested to see what this turns out like.

I'm amused that a teaser trailer for DoA features two dudes. As though anyone plays these games for the fighting.

I actually really thought the trailer showed some promise, but am i the only one to think it weird that they showed off a Dead or Alive game with no girls with oversized chests? Looks good, hoping the environmental stuff is a feature and not just a single stage..

I got to hand it to team ninja for not using tits in the trailer at all.
 
Also, wouldn't it be awesome if pre-alpha version was actually an official subtitle of the game. :p

I love DOA, here's hoping that they make some real changes to it this time. Because otherwise we could just all load up DOA 4.

OH God I've missed DOA. I'm still torn by the fact that Itagaki obviously won't be involved. Still, that trailer kicked ass!!

Okay guys, be honest with me, who expected it to look any different from Dead or Alive 4? I mean, Team Ninja is a predictable beast with their franchises....I'd say that the final product won't be much of a deviation from this trailer, which is enough to at least see that they've changed little! You know they aren't holding an ace up their sleeve, this is it.

I was pretty good at Dead or Alive 4 back in the days of post launch 360....

looks pretty good, but the camera seemed a tad excessive.

I've only ever played DoA 2 on the PS2, and I liked it a whole lot (and still do), but it is shocking how that looks exactly the same as this trailer, minus the random slowdown scenes.

Looks cool..as far as in-game gameplay footage go.

They're saving the "no-chest physics this time" reveal for E3.
