Sooooooo many trailers. I'm bored already.

I'm not even super hyped for this game (as a fan of the original) but I just came to say that for once I've tried to ignore all promotion for the game before I play it, just to see how it goes.

These trailers give away the first few hours, which sucks imo.

They are really sucking away my anticipation for this game with all these trailers. All of the gameplay they show kind of looks clunky and similar, and as much as I want to play more Deus ex stealth, I'm starting to think that this one won't be worth a buy.

Looks alright - but what is up with Adam's voice?  Makes me want to get a glass of water or something every time I hear him speak.

You don't even have to take people down in any way. Don't even need to be noticed besides obligatory unskippable bossfights. This is Deus Ex.

But do i have to commit to one style of play?? For instance, once i start a fighter can i switch to a charismatic person half-way?  And ideas?

Never played any of the other Deus Ex games, but this looks like Alpha Protocol: 2027 to me. I loved AP, so this seems right up my alley.

Do get an Alpha Protocol vibe, but an Alpha Protocol done well would be amazing, here's hoping.

Really? Are we not past that yet? Regardless, everything we've been hearing so far has been great. Glad to hear it bears a lot more similarity to the first game than feared.

As long as there isn't an instance where if you do not level up your gun abilities and are completely stuck because of that I will probably enjoy this game at the least.

I'm really looking forward to this game. I went back and played Deus Ex 1 for the first time and I loved the concept they had going in that original one and they executed it quite well for the time. This game looks update and modernize that initial concept in same ways that make it much more enjoyable to play than the original Deus Ex is now.

3:25 - "helping you gain experience points" "use these to upgrade your weapons" gaff is hilarious!

No you don't. You just use what skills you have at your disposal. As you level up you unlock more augmentations and therefore more ways to solve problems. It's like and RPG skill tree system.

It all depend on how you augment your character. I choose (I played this for 8 hours in April during an press event) to spec him for stealth but if you don't like that playstyle you can use your praxis points that you get through experience to focus on something diffrent. What I know of you can't respec your character. But you never know. But the point is that you don't decide how to play in the begining and get stuck in that, instead it's a continues process of figuring out your own style, partly by how you play and partly by how you augment yourself.

The amount of trailers is going to lead to the film pitfall of showing everything cool before we get our hands on it.

Getting a dark knight soundtrack feeling at 2:30. Game looks great, hated to hear the "clunky" remarks a few months ago. We'll see.

I'm excited to play the game. I can see where it could have some wrinkles in it, certainly. But the last thing I need is a trailer with a hokey-voiced narrator telling me things I already know about this game. The marketing blitz for Human Revolution is just getting inane. This trailer is just  a repackaging of known quantities.

To all the people who are complaining about the trailers, don't watch them. While I agree that they are overdoing it with all of them, I can't think it'd somehow be impossible to just not watch them.

As a quick aside, did he stab that guy in the crotch?

Very excited, but man, I wish this game had some LA Noireish facial animation.  
 
Is it weird that I was reminded of The Matrix while watching this?

All I can hope for is that the story is good and that your choices actually affect things in a meaningful way.

Looks to be pretty great. This game was completely off my radar for a while, but it's looking to be a day one purchase for me. 
 
I only wish they didn't reveal so much story (no matter how small) stuff in these trailers. I'd like to go into the game as fresh as possible.

I think the CG trailers built up expectations for an unbelievably amazing looking game and people were disappointed. Everyone keeps knocking the orange hue of the game when countless dev diaries have said that that is the color palette they wanted to go with. People also hate on the voices and character models. While the complaints on those two are valid to some degree, they aren't complete gamebreakers for me. I still dig the setting they've crafted and the art style.
