Looks Diablo-y, not really my cup of tea for RPGs.

You know what, yeah. From what the trailer presents the game as, I think the 3DS is probably the place I would want to play a game like this.

I've never really understood shark men. Is there any good reason to give a shark human legs, or a human a shark torso? It seems like a losing combination in pretty much all cases... Except maybe if you give your human the cancer fighting abilities of shark. I'll assume these are just failed cancer research subjects.

Part of me is still hanging out for that 3DS redesign, but I think when it comes it'll be too late. The frame rate on this trailer make the game look terrible, I hope it's just the video player and not the final game.

@weegieanawrench: Square Enix really seems to be out to stink up the place. If I hadn't seen their logo, I would have assumed that this was some crappy Gameloft iOS title.

@HatKing: I had forgotten all about that show--I can't believe that they made 40 episodes of it. Well, I guess the man shark combo is a bit more powerful than I initially thought now that I've seen it riding a motorcycle. Good job.

This trailer really wants the game it is portraying to seem like more than a fourth-string Diablo clone where you fight the Street Sharks.

You know this is the same as asking Bioware where Burnout Paradise 2 is?

@WinterSnowblind: Kind of, but not really. Square may only be the publisher on this, but they are still the ones behind FFVersus13. Point being that Square manages to pump out plenty of crap from OTHER people, but can barely manage to get their own software out. And when it does manage to come out, most people aren't digging it. Versus is the first thing that looks great from them in a long time (imo), and it seems to be left for dead.

But hey! At least we got a sequel to FF13 that nobody asked for!

This is gonna be epic. And I'm not stating that seeing this trailer, no sir-ee.

I'm definitely with you on the Versus XIII frustration part but publishing a game from an outside dev like n-space (who usually keeps busy doing pretty good DS versions of the Call of Duty games or experiment with the FPS genre in Geist for Gamecube) is hardly related to not getting their in house devs in line to finally put out Versus XIII.

But still, that game is the new Duke Nukem Forever ...

I thought that was a whale man, not a shark. Either way, at the least the trailer music was pretty cool, I thought.

I just know this game's magic user class is called an Alchitect, yet it is neither an alchemist nor an archtitect.
