Looks completely different from the first game, however because I loved the first one I think this is a Day one purchase

That was pretty cool. Even though we did not see what happen to that demon. I still cringed on the thought of it. I have yet to play the first one though.

I'm looking forward to seeing some gameplay. I just couldn't get into the first one so I'd welcome any streamlining or interesting changes in that area.

Sword/Mage Staff combo is pretty awesome.

This may as well be a final fantasy cutscene :( I reserve judgement before we see gameplay but gotta say, so far I'm not thrilled.

Why can't people find armor that actually works... that horn dude's axe cut through the humans armor like it was nothing....

Hawke is not killing a darkspawn there. That is a Qunari, newly redesigned--they now can have horns. Also, that's flemeth's voiceover.

This seems to imply that there will be a more balanced battlemage class build, unlike the one in DA 1 that fatigued the mage so much he could barely cast spells and was still not really as good a fighter as a warrior.

I'm sure, just like the first game had very little in common with its pretty CG trailer, neither will this one. All the same, I'm stoked. Also digging the lack of heavy metal.

The Qunari are looking wicked this time around.. I hope there's more gore than the sprinkling in the first.

I'm starting to get behind the game taking place over a decade. Best part of rpg's are the epic moments and not the soul crushing bits in between.

Sure I will take more Dragon Age.

Nope Hawke is already alive while Origins is happening, he's one of the survivors that escaped Lothering before it fell to the Darkspawn. "
