Dynasty Warriors 7 Looks Slightly Nuts

Wow, this game is modern! You can actually change from one weapon to another while you mindlessly press the same combos over and over again and occasionally pause to hear horrible dialogue!

crazy ass, trailers about the romance of the three kingdoms!

Looks like same old Dynasty Warriors, same old generic-ass guitar soundtrack, same button-mashing slightly-fun combat, same awful voice acting.

For some reason, I'm a giant sucker for Dyansty Warriors games. I keep going back to them being liek YEAH THESE ARE AWESOME, and then after like an hour of playing I'm like fucking hell, they did it to me again. its the same fucking game.

I HAVE been playing a DW game (actually, two), and I also consider the statement wrong: You have to press square AND triangle 800 million times  Oh, and I lol'd at "Conquest knows no boundaries". That's... kind of the point, guys. "

The original game on PS1 was a fighting game and under a different name in Japan and is not part of the Japanese series.  The 1st Shin Sangoku Musou(japanese title) game on PS2 came to the US as Dynasty Warriors 2.  Hench the reason it's a 10 year anniversary. (This DW7 is only SSM6 in Japan)

Anyway, I'll wait to see if they've finally added some online coop or something, otherwise I'll wait until the price drops.

I don't care what people say, I fuckin' love the Dynasty Warriors games.

About as fun as falling down the stairs.

I haven't played a DW game since the second one but it looks like I could jump right into this one without missing a beat. If I hated myself. 
Is this the same engine as Fist of the North Star? Was that one any good?

you can get dynasty warriors 3 and it will more or less be the exact same game...

Switch between two weapons...wow I remember when I saw that amazing feature in a small little game called Halo on the Xbox. Someone please time travel back in time & find whoever keeps pushing the DW series to be made & put them in another department or just make it yet another series only really sold in Japan though I'm starting to wonder if they want this series either.
