Oh, that's unfair to Atlus USA. They said they tried really hard to get back Chie and Teddie's VAs. Its not their fault they couldn't do it.

If I can't play as Fox, what's really the fucking point?

Wittenberg still does voice acting, but he seems to have gone union, which means we likely won't be hearing him in any small budget games anymore, just like Freeman and Blum.

And what do you mean "already not a great fighter"? Not only does the game look great, but it's currently #1 in Japanese arcades.

Is that supposed to be sarcastic? What do you think I mean? It's a fighting game based off of another game, possibly because of popularity of the anime. I would assume it to be average, mediocre, ok, not special and be more about fan service and already knowing/liking the cast, like a YYH/dbz/naruto/one piece fighter.

If this wasn't being made by Arc System Works, one of the best fighting game developers currently out there, I'd probably agree. Yes, the game does have fanservice, but I've spent enough time researching and watching this game to know it's definitely more than just a fanservice fighter. In fact this is looking to be one of the better fighters to be released in the last several years, which is saying something considering how many there have been.

Ugh the voices are fucking terrible.

Aren't a few P3 characters in this one as guests? I never got around to playing P4 since I had already traded in my PS2 around the game's release.

With Golden on the horizon don't count on it anytime soon. I would expect them to wait until well after Golden is out to ensure they don't cannibalize the sales of their own game.

In the meantime I would love to see DDS and Nocturne.

Okay...the fact that they've put some semi-coherent plot ties to P4 in this has me VASTLY more interested. Well played.

There are a few in the trailer (Elizabeth at least, and I thought I saw a couple of the girls).

Game was great at E3, animation and details were just amazing.

True, I wish GB made it more clear what is and isn't a trailer. I once brought this up and was murdered in the comments. It's like you can't give simple constructive criticism here, without immediately being labelled a troll.

Kanji fighting for romance. Yup, I still love Persona 4.

@Undeadpool: @Zeik: @Solh0und: Elizabeth, Akihiko, Mitsuru, and Aigis are the current lineup of P3 characters you can select in the game, with all of them but Elizabeth being in the arcade version since launch (she was patched in about a month afterwards). They're all present in this trailer, too, albeit mostly for very brief stretches towards the end.

The new Chie voice sounds a lot more like you would expect her to than her old voice did. It's just funny how much her old voice grew on us. Speaking of voices, anyone know who the announcer is? I have a hunch but I want to be sure.

I've found it amusing to start naming my characters after basketball players. So, in my current run through of Persona 3, my main character's name is "Shaq O'Neal" (I wanted Shaquille O'Neal but it wouldn't fit).

Shame they don't have the original voice actors and why Charlie has a voice we'll never know. It's also very odd seeing Kanji smack his love-interest in the face again and again. Still, looks like an SNK job so should be good I guess.
