So bad that Ubi decided she wasn't suitable to present in their press conference whatsoever.

Or maybe she just had too many polygons for the Ubi show and they were already over their limit.

AC's ultra-stylized violence has never clicked with me. The random goons this god-like assassin is murdering don't stand a chance. It's just a series of executions. I suppose that' the point but there's also an element of "ISN'T THIS SO BADASS" and no not really.

This game may get me back into AC again especially if you're ordering others to kill like in Brotherhood. As a side thought since AC has dumped the meta story I think future sequels should revolve around these characters in this setting much like the Ezio trilogy.

So bad she doesn't get to do her own narration.

Whoever is the costume designer for these games deserves recognition. So classy and intricate looking, no wonder there's so much cosplay.

So, anyone else notice in a trailer for the female lead of this game, she doesn't even get to speak?

Finally there is a female lead in one of the big assassin's creed games (there already where 2 in the smaller assassin's creed games) and instead of being happy you people still like to complain!

I really don't get that. How about instead being really stoked that some big new games have a female lead character? You (we) got what you (we) wanted! Lets push up on the hype meter not down.

Wow, you never realize what a psychotic prick your character is until they're just boiled down to the killing. I wonder if Ezio would come off as equally vicious and insane if you just compiled a series of his slayings over some dramatic music and eschewed all his one-liners.

On the plus side, the main protagonist team are brother/sister. That means that internet crusaders get their female lead AND there is (hopefully) no way she is romantically linked to her male lead counterpart... so no Black Widow fuming. Win win for Ubisoft, haha.

It is because Ubisoft is responsible for the comment regarding women being so much harder to animate in their LAST ASSASSIN'S CREED GAME. With all the E3 shows representing women this year the one franchise that really should be making an effort is failing spectacularly. I am appreciative that they have female representation at all in their game but their press demo showed not a single female character speaking AT ALL.

So big props to The Division for having a female lead your demo. Good on Rainbow Six for having a black woman as your leader. And Ass Creed... I don't trust you to have any good female representation in your game since you clearly don't think anything there is good enough to show at E3.

@wandrecanada: But how long can a sane person hold a grudge because one french guy spoke in his second language and made up an excuse on the spot? He basically worded poorly that a female character would not be an edzio reskin. Now this AC has a female character and she got her own trailer during the Sony show. Which i think is watched more than the ubisoft show, but i could be wrong there.

Why cant we just be happy games are more varied than 10 years ago and leave the grumbling behind now it has improved SO MUCH.

@bicycle_repairman: Yeah, I'm pretty much as SJW-y as it gets, and I'm thinking it's about time we cut the guy some slack. Clearly they listened to the complaints and responded. That's a good thing, right? I mean, just because a trailer doesn't show a woman having a dialogue doesn't mean the final product will have a poor representation, does it? And Ubisoft, if anything, has been one of the few big companies that has been pretty good about not having, strictly, white dudes as leading characters. At certain point you're not being progressive, you're being cynical, and the two aren't as hand-in-hand as some people make them out to be.

Maybe I'm naive.
