E3 2016: All Units Are Ready for Halo Wars 2

Obviously no gameplay, but I enjoyed this as an abstract piece. Great song choice.

I like Halo Wars far more than it deserves. Can't wait to try out the beta.

Sweet, a trailer that shows absolutely nothing of what the game will look like! Weeeeee!

Seriously people: The game was known about for months and will play nothing like..whatever the Hell that trailer was supposed to be. Why even bother?

@thebeast93: Do you mean the original game, which one would hope wouldn't be all this sequel has to offer? Or did you mean a beta or demo of some kind? Please, enlighten me, because these trailers show nothing about how this new game will actually play.

They just need to show me the actual fucking units and I'll be in. As good as their trailer looked, I hope the game is thought through and is up to the quality of a Star Craft game. Big cg story that introduces you to units and has upgrades and also a competitive gameplay that is balanced. Or ya kow, if they want to throw this idea in the dumpster amd do a proper Age Of Empires Sequel I'd be down for that too.

Does anyone every acknowledge that the UNSC is kind of a fascist state?

Obviously it doesn't matter, cuz videogames, and given the overwhelming alien threat, they kind of need a single united power controlling everything, but it is a bit odd, is this ever pointed out in-game?

@mikemcn: Not in the games, but it's acknowledged in the books. It's still weird because (at least in the ones I read) the books don't make much of a moral judgement on the fascism of the UNSC while pointing out that it's there.
