I love the look of this game :) I'm ashamed to admit this but I've never played Heavenly Sword. Is it worth picking up? I've heard it's really short but I don't mind now that you can get it for £10 or less. :p

Something about the character design turns me off.

Story in Heavenly Sword and everything was alright, and well delivered character performances etc. 
Hated the game part though, all of it. ...just awful.
  
It's gonna take a lot of praise for me to be interested in this, even if it's based on that Sun Wukong story or whatever.

Definitely interested. Monkey/Ninja combat has to be cool.

Interesting concept, retelling Journey to the West in a post-apocalyptic sort of way.
 
Game doesn't look super sharp so far, though. Graphics and combat look a little plain at the moment. That could change.

For those who are curious about the story they aren't shy about saying it IS Journey to the West.   She's the Monk and he's the Monkey.
 
I also have to agree with the above that the graphic quality looks a tad low.  I noticed a lot of hard edges to their polygonal shapes that don't usually show in modern games.  It seems most apparent in the girl's weird haircut and the crazy robot chasing them at the end of the trailer.

I disagree 100%, i think it was the best cutscenes i had ever watched in my life up until that point, and not many have topped it since; in fact  i played the game FOR the cutscenes... The actors actually acted which is super rare.... Kai was amazing.
