Evolve Adds Four New Hunters and the Behemoth Monster Today

I stopped playing it a couple of weeks after launch, had nothing to do with the DLC it just got boring for me. Playing the same maps over and over just wasn't nearly as fun or randomised as something like Left 4 Dead.

Still playing but not as much as I thought I would play a game made by people who made L4D. Not going to pay for DLC.

Absolutely still playing. You can't find an experience quite like playing the monster in this game anywhere else. Higher-level matches are just intense on a completely different level than what I'm used to, and I play a shitton of multiplayer games.

Played it for like 20 hours around release, then got super bored with it. Probably not coming back to it any time soon.

I admire your ability to stick with it for that long. I played maybe 12-14 matches before giving up on it.
Sounded better on paper/in theory than it turned out.

I have been playing a lot solo, been trying to get some friend in on it but no dice. The new content had me putting BloodBorne down and playing some more.

They have a lot of personality and character in this title and if you have a group to play it with then I'd say go for it.

Not going to buy it until its 10 bucks. I honestly felt pretty burned by Titanfall, I paid full price on launch day, season pass, the whole deal, ended up loving the game but the lack of content made me quit after a few weeks. Looks like Evolve is another one of those fun gameplay but no depth sort of deals, I rather wait a couple months and get it for cheap.

Still playing what I think to be an intelligent, challenging shooter (although admittingly matchmaking isn't always at the same level:)). Happy to see new characters/monsters added even if I might end up not buying them.

Still playing this game and have to say that I love every minute of it, especially when playing with upper level players. Very challenging to beat a group of experienced hunters, though I will admit that some monsters are easier to win with than others (Wraith anyone?)

I would totally purchase the new players and monster if they were a bit more reasonably priced but not for $7 each - and wtf is up with charging $15 for a friggin monster?!

Besides the price jacking, my biggest complaint with the game is how ridiculously long it takes to unlock the tier 3 players that come with the game. I have no desire to play 50 games with medic, just so I can unlock them. Still a much better value than Assassins Creed Unity though, so there's that.

Not playing now, but more a function of other good games coming out versus being completely bored with it. The addition of new characters does make me want to check it out, but I do have long term concerns everyone else does on whether or not there is enough variety or interesting gameplay there to sustain it much longer...

I'm still enjoying the crap out of this game which caught me completely off guard. I have the dlc so it looks like I'll be playing this one for quite some time for my pvp fix.

The question you should take onto this Alex, is would you go back to the game, for a 15$ Monster(unless you preordered ugh) and a 25$ pass to get the hunters just to play them. It's not like you just have the option to use them now, and are given more variety. You'll get the new maps but thats it.

I played maybe 20 hours in the first week or so, but have since stopped. Honestly, the amount of downtime is the reason that my group quit. Loading and post-round tallies take up half the playtime, and then a good 1/3 of your rounds are one-sided stomps anyway.

I actually think the way they did DLC is far better than the average shooter. Not splitting the community by offering the maps for free and letting people play against monsters that others have bought are really smart decisions. Sure beats $20 map packs.

It's more interesting to me than any other online vs mode Like advanced warfare or battlefield. It's good to have something different

I still play it, but I know that it's only because I have a group of friends who regularly play it with me. And they also gave me $40 to put toward the game so I'd buy it.
