Final Fantasy Type-0 Cinematics and Stuff

One hell of a glitch there, Top Men.

Does look pretty cool. Main character look like they could be in high school, like a mix of Final Fantasy and Persona. They're even using cards to do magic.
Too bad it's on the PSP. Please bring it to the iPhone, Square Enix.

I care about FF again.

the thing that interests me most about this game is the amount of blood in it.. are we going to see an M-rated final fantasy game here? that would be kinda crazy

hmm, reminded me a lot of Final Fantasy VIII which is a good thing.

So... There's a Chinese Four Gods thing going on (Blue Dragon, Red Phoenix, White Tiger, Black Tortoise), and each nation/faction/tribe? has their own advantage (summons for Phoenix, technology for Tiger)... And I guess there's also a Hogwarts sort of thing happening because those people at the end are all students??   
Not going to make any decision about this for now.  Just gonna have to wait and see.

They sure have taken the game in a really different direction since they showed it off as Agito XIII. 
 
I'm not sure I am exactly pleased with the changes though... Originally the combat was going to be similar to Crisis Core but support party combat, which sounded great; This combat looks very inspired by other PSP games, but it will probably still be good.
 
Most notably changed would be that Agito XIII was going to be some sort of school based thing, sort of like what FFVIII would be like if the beginning sequence lasted longer. Obviously these kinds of games are extremely overdone by now, but I think that a FF version in this style could be really awesome, especially after Crisis Core sort of did it. Instead it looks like their school gets destroyed and the rag-tag bunch of highschool kids defeat the evil invading empire thanks to their ability to summon.
 
I suppose thats fine too, but I always liked the school setting since it wasn't always so serious and lets you get to know the characters a lot better and get attached to them. Obviously this is all speculation, but thats what I got from this trailer. Hopefully the combat is fun, looked a bit dull but I am sure its spiced up very nicely with all the customization and whatnot.

This trailer was filled with straight up murder.

Anybody else spot the first boss off FFVII in there? He is being fought in one of the in game cuts. not the same red color though.

Great.... more anime spectacle CG with teenagers with really stupid haircuts.  
 
The game itself could be kinda interesting though.  I dunno.  JRPGs need to work pretty fucking hard to get me to bother.  Which FFXIII did not...

Crisis Core was terrible.

After watching the Versus XIII trailer this looks really lame... but really good for a handheld title. Next year Versus XIII might show up on the second PSP system and there won't be a difference in wow factor.

Square-Enix should just consider changing their company name to Final Fantasy.

So I gather that the story here involves a new order  "technology" that is violently overthrowing the old order which is "magic." Seems cool.

Phoenix Down

This was actually looking good and very Casshern-like (the movie) until... the gameplay footage came through-- then I lost interest.

Through the heaps of another batch of negative comments, I'd say this game looks great. CG was interesting and similar gameplay style as the other final fantasy title, a welcoming change. Am I the only optimistic one on GB?

This and Vs XIII are looking pretty interesting. 

Versus 13 looks more fun. i know this is a psp game and not a ps3 but, if they're releasing it around the same time as versus 13 i'll have trouble wanting to play both.

Does this game have crystals in it?
