Forging the World of Hunted: The Demon's, uh... Forge

I can't see this game being a hit with anyone. Fantasy fans will be insulted by the fact that the designers bastardized the genre by adding shooter elements and shooter fas aren't going to care about shooting a bunch of orcs with arrows let alone play this game when they could be playing CoD. The UE3 does not shine in this game one little bit and just feels like another bad attempt at using the engine. 

This game will fail.
It has fail written all over it, in rocks, in every bit of dirt, in broken pottery, in birds....
Reasoning : Games usually show their best in such reveal videos and this game didn't show enough. Also, the close-up scene of the main character where he goes to sleep or something is very very very poor.

There must be something wrong with me, but I think this looks alright. Not a big fan of dark fantasy myself, but provided that they get the controls and enemy encounter design right this could be a passable third person action game or even better than that. That said, every professional games journalist who has ever so much as mentioned Hunted on a podcast seem to take for granted that it's going to be pretty awful, so maybe they've seen particular aspects of the gameplay (during industry events etc.) which just haven't been presented to the general public yet. 

Looks like a shitty Gears mod.

Still not convinced.  Level editor looks incredibly - LIMITED -

I was not impressed by this game when playing it at PAX East.  Seemed way too generic, and the combat just didn't feel right.

Why would you make a video like this for a completely unoriginal new IP? Aside from the level editor it looks as bland as it gets.

I'm much more interested in LOTR: War in The North, frankly. Done by the guys who done the Champions of Norrath games <3 Also does anyone else think that Brian Fargo chap sounds a fair bit like James Woods?

Looks ok but oh my god what an awful voice acting...

This game looks like mud.  It looks like it could be fun, but just visually, it looks like mud.  Also, I wonder how productive they are with everything being black in their studio.

Man I really dislike the voice acting that they've shown so far.

Looks cool, I'll probably pick this up :)

Game looks great and from their past products it probably plays great too. Can't wait!

This game really looks super polished. Im impressed so far.

I don't like the trend of trailers where they act like they're doing interviews only.. they're not.  Also, shots of people working with no light. Way to go authentic.

In all seriousness, I hope this game is alright. I'll consider buying if the reviews turn out to be decent.

This is some beautiful presentation.  The attention to detail is outstanding consider it's a sprawling RPG.  Character animation is good, the combat has weight to it, and the backgrounds are stunning.  Not to mention nice touches like shimmying through tight spots and across narrow ledges.

This game looks interesting, but I think less Dev Diaries could help...

While it doesn't look like anything special, the map editor does look pretty neat.

Sorry, but that looks average verging on awful. There was not one single element of gameplay in that video that looked original or inspiring.

Hunted's a fast-paced game with a lot of... Depth.

 Put the always-witty, never overused "uh" elsewhere in a post title, not in the middle of the game's name.

Holy crap do those developers work in a dungeon themselves?
