It's a shame that many good games , like these one , is only for consoles and no for the PC .

now that i have a ps3 and have played uncharted, i just cant get excited about this.

I wish I had a ps3 so I could play all their games too and just ENJOY gaming.
Lets stop watching movies once we've discovered our favorite movie, none will top it anyway right? Pssh.

Solid trailer, but false advertising.  Trailer clearly shows Fenix icing locust enemies quickly with just a few rounds.

Still a day 1 buy (since that's the only time you actually have a shot in the multiplayer)

I'm not diggin' this one as much as the first two Gears' juxtaposition trailers.

The game will be amazing but I am not buying into the whole "Brothers to the end" business. It just seems so utterly insincere and doesn't even attempt to hide itself as a cheap marketing ploy. Perhaps I'm the only one who sees it this way, but I almost feel like they're trying to market this game to entirely the wrong crowd. The kind of people who think there's any kind of honor, glory, or brotherhood in war aren't typically the kind to get enjoyment from stepping on dudes faces and chainsawing them in half. It's far from Bulletstorm, but Gears of War has never been a "serious business" kind of game, regardless of how they market it.

LOL... well it worked for me. Just when I thought I wasn't going to get excited for Gears this holiday, they pull me back with their melodramatic commercials. I'm a consumer whore.

The Gears series has some pretty damn amazing trailers.

I'm guessing Carmine is dead. Just on the basis of this commercial.

Always wondered why the Gears trailers set the games up to be all serious business, because in the games themselves the atmosphere is far from serious. Dudes are cracking one-liners left and right, yelling and hollering and being badasses.
 
I understand that the greater fiction of the universe beyond how it's portrayed in-game is pretty dire and serious, but the games just aren't, so the mood in the trailers has always perplexed me a bit.
 
Not to say I don't fuckin' love 'em. Gears trailers are great.
