I've been waiting for this ever since I heard about it on the podcast, and here it is. Great interview, Jeff. The Sarge really is a class-act.

What I absolutely loved about that interview is that Sgt. Slaughter talked like a real person.  He didn't seem too elusive or corporate with his answers...especially the Randy Savage answer.  Very nice.

What a nice soft-spoken man, makes me remember why I love wrestling and the majority of the guys that give their bodies to the business.

I like how the music got all sappy talking about the macho man.  Good on Jeff for asking the question.

Dood, Jeff...my level of envy at the moment is through the roof!!!  I couldn't have even gotten one real sentence out!!!  I would've just been like "DOOD, YOU'RE SGT. FUCKING SLAUGHTER!!!  YOU'RE AMAZING, DOOD!!!".

I don't even like wrestling, but there was something about this interview that just made it shine.

Good interview, the first time I've actually seen Jeff interview somebody and appear a little nervous...that is obviously somebody he has a lot of respect for.

Wow, for as hardcore and in-your-face he was, dude is down to earth and relaxed as hell.

Not a fan of wrestling myself; it's too ridiculous and over the top for me, but this guy seems to be a real upstanding and pleasant bloke despite how he may've acted his persona in the ring.

Always nice to see that.

I haven't watched wrestling since I was a kid but great interview.

Never watched wrestling (being from Norway, it isn't exactly huge here). But this was a very entertaining interview none the less. Thanks Jeff!

Brilliant interview I thought, it's so much better when the interviewer is actually excited and has lots of enthusiasm, great job Jeff.

That was really, really good. It was nice to see the Sarge being rather candid and open and just as good to see Jeff flexing that nerd muscle for something he obviously has a lot of affection for; wrestling when it was actually still awesome.

I was just watching Stg. Slaughter's first appearance in G.I. Joe (Arise Serpentor, Arise) last night.  And then to have this video get posted, that's creepy.  Also totally awesome.

He is surprisingly well spoken.  Definitely seems to have a good respect and understanding of the business, far more than you'd expect from the on stage performances of most wrestlers.  Very impressive.

That was a great interview Jeff.  I know you care about the subject matter where other people might not, and it shows.  Great stuff!

That was an awesome interview.  I remember watching Sgt Slaughter wrestle on TV, in fact I have Hogan and Sgt. Slaughter action figures from way back in the day. 

I will say one thing... although the jury still isn't out on the controls for Legends of Wrestlemania... I'm still really looking forward to this game.

I had his action figure as a kid, had no idea who he was. The hat never came off either! :P

Like every other boy in the 80's, I like wrestling.  I really wanted to get into it, but my parents never let me get the pay per view.

So, I never really got all that into it.

nice!  so Giant Bomb can now be responsible for the return of the Macho Man to WWE!  hahahahaha.
