This mailbag has multiple story arcs and themes. Amazing.

Already sent a tumblr ask to Dan but yes robots can and do exist in D&D. Most often in the form of magical constructs. Also you can make your own class so as long as your DM is cool with it and makes sure your class isn't OP ( A good way to do that is to base it off an existing class and renaming moves and adjusting skills and traits)

Like just make a mage with heavy armor training and sword training, then learn only spells that involve range and rename spells like "magic missile" to "Auto Targeting Rockets"

Leveling up would be like you are getting upgraded. The class might need to be allowed some lenience but you can always offset it, work with a DM to figure out how you could nerf your character so the game is fair if you are looking too powerful. Limit yourself or give yourself flaws so that way your character can't handle everything on it's own. Like a robot that can't disobey a command from a party member or all the "spells" can't effect anything spiritual. Only things that would be considered solid. Potions don't heal you and you cant heal for the duration of the day. Magic can't heal you either. You can only be healed if another player has the skill Knowledge: Artificer.

D&D is all about having fun. I'd love to see a Rykert built custom class for a Terminator. Actually gonna go to the forums and see if there is a way we can build it...

Is anyone else surprised that the guys have airsoft guns, multiple knives, and a laser capable of almost instantly making cardboard smoke in the office and none of the higher ups at CBSi seem to care?

Hey @danryckert, Jeff is wrong about DnD and Tabletop RPGs. You could be whatever you'd like as long as it's ok with your GM. Most people really into Tabletop games are so sick of the generic wizard/fighter/rogue BS that they basically "reskin" everything. (Unless they're some shitty unfun Rules Lawyer, but no one likes playing with a Rules Lawyer.)

If you want to be some Wrestler guy who does flying kicks and suplexes everything they come across than you'd probably be fine. A lot of GMs go by the so-called "Rule of Cool" or "It's more fun to say 'Yes'" Rule which basically means if their players want to do something absurd and awesome then they'll let them within reason.

Jeff with an pellet assault rifle probably marks the beginning of the end, as in there might not be another Mario Party Party. But if they somehow make it to the end of the year, all of this stuff will make for fucking amazing GOTY video props.
