Grand Theft Auto V for PC Getting Video Editing Tools

This is amazing.

I'm gunna make so many cat videos.

Not something I'd ever use, but it'll be cool to see all the stuff that comes out of it.

This is really cool.

Remember GTA IV? Remember the PC-port? Remember how the only way you could achieve a solid FPS during the initial release and the few weeks that followed was turning off this exact feature?

I want to watch @vinny play GTA V as a bird, it went so well in Arma III.

I hope this game works well on PC, last time the port was rough for months. With that said I'm so excited to get back into this game, 2015 has been a barren wasteland unless you are really into indie stuff.

Except plenty of people have had a hands on with the game at this point running on all sorts of hardware/settings combination and seen that it is optimized pretty damn well. GTAIV sucked on PC for sure, for a while. That also came out in 2008. Also, Max Payne was great on PC, so its not like they haven't stepped it up since then.

That entire port was a massive shit show, for me game settings made barely any difference whatsoever, it just ran like shit no matter what I did. I remember it looking pretty bad as well and some bad shadow glitches if you ran ATI/AMD video cards.

They definitely learned a lot about PC with Max Payne 3, that was a fantastic port/version.

Being able to playing as an eagle? I'm in.

I'm looking forward to seeing some 4K stuff from this. Not that I'll be able to play any of that for years.

Really is best-in-class this stuff that Rockstar do.

There is no in-game setting for AA in GTA IV.

Rockstar: "Please show everyone how cool our games are."
Nintendo: "Fuck you."

This port is being done by the guys who ported Max Payne 3, not the team that did GTA IV. It'll be fine, there've already been multiple hands-on features on sites. It's well-optimized. GTA IV was not, I still can't get 60 FPS in that game on a fucking Titan Black.

Man, I'm gonna kill so much time with this thing.

@vierastalo: That was years ago, working with a new engine and now they have come out with great ports like Max Payne 3 so i feel like they have learned from their mistakes.
