I don't think I've ever seen a Studio Ghibli movie though so that might be the issue. Characters look strangely designed in this game.

Very much looking forward to playing this. Level 5 produced some really great games and I love a lot of Studio Ghibli movies so this is destined for greatness based on those 2 things.

Level 5 and Studio Ghibli is a dope fucking combo. It's been a while since I've been interested in a JRPG.

The overworld is one of the things that sold me on this game to be honest. It looks like a 3D Chrono Trigger overworld and I love it. The art style and colors just scream Chrono Trigger to me.

And also, not just how the overworld looks, but the simple fact that the game HAS ONE. Say what you will about false senses of openness, I miss classic JRPG overworlds.

Weird that the game is only a month away after waiting what feels like forever for it to come out.

I played the demo over the weekend, and I'm super-excited to get my hands on the full game. Obviously the visuals are amazing, but if the story and characters even half-measure up to Ghibli's films, this game is going to be a hell of an experience.

I have this pre-ordered. Can't wait!

What's a girl gotta do to get those figurines/plushies on the shelf? Because I would give all of my money.

This is pretty much what I envision when I hear Level 5 and Studio Ghibli are making a game.

Somehow I've never heard of this, but I'm now pretty much sold into a day-1 purchase.

I was 100% sure this was going to be an instant buy. It's been my most anticipated game since it was announced, I love Ghibli and I typically love how Level 5's rpgs play - but sadly, after playing the demo I'm not so sure.

I'm not totally giving up hope but I just wasn't very impressed with the gameplay :(
