Might give this a try when it comes out.

i love the terribly unfitting music. though, while it doesn't look too HD'd out, this is one of the only major RE games that i haven't played

Literally can't see any difference; it still even has that annoying blur effect too. Just wish they could of at least redone the REmake or RE0 instead.

I really didn't like Code Veronica very much, but I'll be buying it just to support Capcom bringing back older RE games in the hopes of one day getting an Outbreak collection.

This game is very good as far as I remember. Unfortunately those graphics have aged poorly and indeed appear to not have been improved at all really. Shame.

Not having played this at the time, this vid isn't really peaking my interest. Unfortunately I'm damaged by the evolution this kind of games has gone through - and it would need a complete overhaul of the game for me to care.

And at that point I might as well play a new ass game.

Code Veronica is probably my least favorite Resident Evil game. Seriously, wouldn't REmake or RE0 upscale to HD far more nicely?

They are showing the worst parts of the game. Why are they showing the worst parts of the game? The game wasn't all that good in the first place!

@AjayRaz: Have wanted an HD release of the REmake for years.... Will always be my personal favorite.

I'm looking forward to this coming out. People realize how shitty the old RE games play, and stop nagging on about: "da greatast zurvival horrur eva!"

I'd like to see an hd version of the REmake, which is still the best entry in the series IMO

My prediction is that with 'Operation Raccoon City' set in that timeline and both these games being released together RE6 will be a return to the Leon/Claire storylines which I'm down with! RE2 is still the highest selling in the series so it definitely makes sense.

Ech, I thought I had forgotten the clunky ass tank controls. Now, if capcom wanted to put out a Dino crisis game in HD, then we're talking.

Wish they would do a Halo Anniversary style re-release for 1, 2 and 3 instead.  I'd buy em.

If Capcom insists on remaking everything, because they simply have no new IPs worth a shit..  
 
The least they can do, is give it a total overhaul to include an updated control system like RE4.

Umm... i take back my comment on the RE4 video.... I don't want this. Not because this is laughable HD, but because I refuse to play any games with these tank controls. That doesn't seem to have changed by the way the video goes.

Well the graphics were awesome for the time,basically a matte painting.

These have to be the laziest "HD remakes" I've ever seen. Just one more thing to make Capcom look bad.

Looks the same as my Dreamcast version via VGA. Great game, still looks pretty decent even today.

I appreciate the idea of updating old games as much as the next guy, but what the blue fuzz is this?  Graphics don't look HD at all. And the trailer was a half-hearted slap in the face as well.

I actually miss tank controls and fixed camera angles. Watching this gave me the urge to play re1-3. 

One of the best Resident Evil games, IMO, but this is absolutely not worth 20 dollars.

This is one half-assed HD conversion, at least with RE 4 I can cut it some slack, because the game itself is amazing and worth replaying. CVX is neither amazing and I'm doubting worth replaying.

These look okay, but can you get similar results from Dolphin with the Gamecube (or hell, the waggle version for PS2 extras) discs?
