LEGO Peter Capaldi is pretty great but I'd be way more into this if it was In the Loop Peter Capaldi.

Dammit, I don't want to get suckered into this, but they're making it real hard not to.

Finally, I can have the Doctor run around through time with Doc Brown.

I can only dream that Lego would secure the rights for Bill & Ted, then I could have multiple time travelers using multiple phone booths.

Things like this make me want to play Lego Dimensions but I don't know if I want to be suckered into one of those "toys-to-life" games all the cool kids are talking about. I'm torn.

Same here, I am loving everything I see but I'm not planning on spending money on tiny lego dudes.

The one about the fucking space hairdresser and the cowboy. He's got a tinfoil pal and a pedal bin. His father's a robot and he's fucking fucked his sister. Lego. They're all made of fucking lego.

Ditto. I want to buy this, but it's a lot of money. I've played and enjoyed Skylanders and Disney Infinity(I wasn't the purchaser on those, except for a couple figures that I liked). From what I've seen Lego Dimensions is even more expensive than those, but Batman, Portal, Back to the Future, Doctor Who...I want them all.

Even if this thing makes 0 dollars, the fact that Lego Men in Tom Baker's image exist kind of makes the whole enterprise worthwhile. Seriously, what the hell is going on? And who's next? Oh Christ, Looney Tunes is next.

I can't wrap my head around this game, this is some Tumblr level of crossover. If it weren't for the fact it's a skylanders clone I'd be all over this.

If the Doctor manages to explain things where all this lego stuff actually fits within Doctor Who continuity, I will laugh my ass off.

Yeah. Him and Doc Brown. Someone on the dev team was thinking right.

Dalek voices always makes me happy. Could've used some Delia Derbyshire music though.

Great, now I super wanna play this and won't, because it's a toys to life game.

This trailer made me go from "whatever" to "oh shit!" to "oh, right..." faster than I could have ever imagined.

Unless children have gotten way more into Doctor Who overnight (or always have been way more into it than I was ever aware), the fact that they've made a starter pack out of this franchise, makes LEGO Dimensions seem squarely targeted at (also) not-kids in a surprising way.

If this is the only starter pack, or at least the biggest one (that portal looks big), this is... strange.

@snail: well it is a kids show. Its probably not big with kids in the states, but in the UK and Australia its mostly targeted at the children's demographic
