I'll still buy and play it but that trailer was terrible. Also, sucks that Mark Sheppard (Firefly, BSG, Supernatural) isn't voicing Agent Ford anymore :(

How does a game like this get a sequel? There's no way that the original sold more than 5 copies, and for good reason from what I've heard.

Actually, SEGA was happy with the results of the first game, and so they published the second one.

As for the trailer, I hate to be a hater who hates, but man that sucked. So since the graphics are guaranteed to be horrible by next gen console standards, they make even the CGI of the weak ass trailer look bad just to prep you for the gameplay graphics? Music I could care less about, generic cheese balls, but that fake Cortana is weak. I never played the first one, nor own a Wii so...take this with a grain of hater-idus.

I'm still really wondering who the hell this game is for. The original game was really mediocre and it didn't set up any sort of fiction for people to care about, and yet SEGA is acting like the public is clamoring for a sequel.

Never played the first one, but its good to see High Voltage trying to make a series out of their games for the Wii in the fps department. I mean there is RED STEEL but... y'know.

Precisely. I always judge game trailers by excluding pre-rendered cinematics. So in reality, this trailer never ever actually existed. And thank God, too. 
 
In all seriousness, I enjoyed the first game and I'll almost definitely be getting this one. It had a terrible story and from the looks of things, that's not going to change, but I was never paying attention to it; and the online felt genuinely fun for me. Of course, Goldeneye is out, so all other Wii online is pointless, but I think I just don't care much for generic 360 wartime shooters. 
 
Yes, I'd much rather go for a generic Wii Sci-Fi shooter. Much more fun!
