Im surprised that this is coming to Sony platforms considering Microsoft bought Mojang. Also, there is that guy that played Lee doing his voice again.

As somebody who has never played Minecraft and has no interest in ever doing so in the future, this looks OKAY.

Well when I heard about this I absolutely did not care. But...that's Patton Oswalt so...sold.

So Patton Oswalt, Paul Reubens (Pee Wee), Billy West, Corey Feldman and Ashley Johnson. They really pulled it out for voicework on this one.

Someone needs to stop Telltale. This is starting to get out of hand.

Though I would like to see these types of facial animations/character expressiveness in normal Minecraft while still adhering to the minimalist style it's known for.

Ugh. I'm starting to have a serious problem with Telltale. Their games looks bad and are riddled with game-breaking bugs and they continue to crank out titles. What are they up to, like six or seven active titles? All on the same lazy, seemingly broken engine?

I guess, good for them for making some cash, but that's what this is -- a cash grab. This seems really bad.

I suppose that in a perfect world I'd be watching the trailer for TWAU 2 instead of Minecraft.

I don't think that the Telltale format can do infinite reiteration. I don't play any of TTG's games, so my opinion is fairly invalid, but is anyone, who has played them, feeling fatigued?

I think this seems totally fine. You can tell all sorts of stories of your own in minecraft and this just seems like telltale telling their own. They tell good stories

Heh heh, I like that it's called "story mode." Yeah I dunno, looks like it can be as good as Telltale's other stuff. Weird that I'm hearing celebrity voices come out of such low-quality polygonal people, though (let alone any voice at all).

I'm oddly intrigued. Considering how FREAKIN' AMAZING Tales From the Borderlands has been so far, I may as well at least keep this on my radar and see how the reviews pan out.

It looks like a machinima, the kids will be so all over it. It's kind of a bummer that it looks so serious though, Tales From the Borderlands was surprisingly good because of Telltale's return to comedy.

@artreus: I thought the same watching this. Seems like telltale is just going to tell their own story and has the minecraft name attached because $$. If its a good story, I'm fine with it.

I love their style of adventure games and they have been hitting it out of the park for a bit now.

This is the stupidest thing I've seen in a long time. I'm sure kids will love it and it will sell really well.

@empirepaintball: Right now, just two active titles: 'Tales from the Borderlands' (three episodes from completion) and "Game of Thrones" (two left). Both of those series have been quite good so far.

@ronniebarzel: Don't get me wrong, I understand why people enjoy the games. The stories are great. I'm just saying there is a myriad of technical issues with saves and what not which, in a game where the only thing you do is watch a story play out, is a massive problem.

I hope this runs on a good combo of Telltale and Minecraft's broken ass engines so there's an even LONGER awkward pause between sentences and scene changes.

I got the Telltale games fatigue

It'd be cool if they made this like a Story Mode usually is and patch it into the main game. Wait, maybe not. I don't know.

I used to like Tell Tale games, but they've kind of proven they can only make 1 type of game with a very specific formula. Tales From the Borderlands is the best they've done so far, but mostly because of the humor and diverse things going on.

Maybe their games would be so fatigued now if their graphics engine didn't look 10 years old and all the characters animated in the same stilted ways. I hope they do something cool with the Marvel Comics project, but that's only because we never really get Marvel games anymore outside of mostly crappy mobile games or a Lego game every few years.

@ronniebarzel: Borderlands only has two more episodes as well. The 3rd one released two weeks ago.

Fingers crossed that it turns out decently. Don't have a lot of hope for it, but perhaps TellTale Games (TTG) can surprise us all with this series.

My nephew is going to love this.

High budget Minecraft Adventure map without jumping puzzles? Pshhh...

(But really whatever. Minecraft is one of the most influential games ever made. Sure it sucks that it's now owned by a big corporation and will be milked until death, but it's not for me anymore. )

Hmm, well good on Tell Tale for cutting that trailer, it seems to strike the appropriate tone for a game of their style within the framework of Minecraft. I'm more interested to see people recreate all of the, "sets," (if you want to call them that), in this game, in Minecraft proper.
