With all the live show shennanigans, sometimes I forget that Vinny and Drew actually are talented producers.

In Alex's defence, there's only so much you can do when you're constantly alone in your apartment. He does a ton of work for the site and I'm just glad for the guy he has someone to bounce things off of and interact with. I get the feeling now that Vinny's out there, we'll get a chance to get to know Alex a bit better, which I'm all for.

Then we need the "How to Move a BEAST" video when they leave their temporary office sometime in the future.

@shinoadr: occasional gb on safari vids wouldn't go amiss either. too bad there's only llamas roaming the streets.

Just wanted to add my +1 to the idea of seeing more of both Dan and Robin in future anythings. Cool people, and I think they'd be fun to have as recurring guests.

Yeah, this is pretty much the beginning of exactly everything I was looking forward to when Vinny announced his move back to NY. Manhattan is such fertile ground for guys like Alex and Vinny to take advantage of. Can't wait for more!

I was thinking how this video should be called How to Build a Bomb; then I thought better of it.

This is actually going to be really cool for the site in general. Get some more Alex on the screen, and just a good diversity of content.

@shtinky: On some level, I agree, but I think most people are just honestly a little afraid about the future of the site, and I get that. I mean, you listen to last week's Bombcast and literally the only person from the original crew (Drew was added early enough that I consider him an original duder but he's relatively new to the Bombcast) is Brad. That's insane.

Patrick got added, the site got bought by CBSi, Vinny became a dad, Ryan passed away. A lot has happened. Now Vinny has moved to New York and two new editors are joining. Will they fit in or be a drag? Is Giant Bomb East going to work? What about when they need to hire? Will those new editors be good? It's scary.

So when a guy like Danny comes on and really hits it off with the crew and the community loves him, it's natural that people would want him to stay. We're a big, dumb family, and we've been through a lot together. I don't think that's childish or naive.

@vinny I feel like you guys spent a segment of this video window shopping for Jeff. Not saying it's a bad thing, I just know how much Jeff loves Nights into Dreams.

Excellent. I'm feeling the excitement and that's a good fucking start for GB East. Faster than expected as well. Here's hoping this madness will actually pan out but you guys have pulled off equally challenging things before!
