John Madden Is in Madden NFL 25, Oddly Enough

@wvueers: I said it's not a proper word. It's in the dictionary because they have to relent eventually if enough people keep using a word, but when I hear someone use it, they get about as much respect from me as I would give to someone who says "irregardless". You can't just invent a superlative by adding "-est" to the end of a verb.

I know you've probably heard someone say it, and thought "Hey, perhaps that's a proper word", but let me assure you that no, it is not.

Without Madden, it wouldn't be Madden. Without peanut butter, it wouldn't be peanut butter. Without English, it wouldn't be English. Without.......

They're coaches models... they're not exactly the focus of development

Is it just me, or does that model of Madden look terrible? Like PS2 quality, minus the aliasing? The players are super detailed, but Ol' John looks......plastic? Robotic? Hmmmm...Hopefully that's not the Xbone/PS4 version...

Madden is the best coach of all time. We found this out because our insanely stale annual franchise is named after him. So who better......

"Ratings Czar"? Are you joking? Player rating have had a lot of issues. They better get rid of the Czar and find a Ratings Genius. There might be one working at an Apple Store, I dunno.

Screw that. I'll wait for 2025 where they'll have CyberMadden with the laser eyes and chainsaw arm, and football is played in orbit with a live grenade.

John Madden signed a $150 million deal with EA that allows them to use his name and likeness in their games for the next 10 years. So despite not having NFL exclusivity, they still own the rights to Madden and will continue making a Madden game every year.

Without John Madden it would have been named after some other successful coach, player, or just NFL Football the Game. That's crazy.

I think EA lost the point of what makes Madden, Madden. Just put him on the cover and that's it.
