the QTE was kinda neat, but there should still be a way to block it. Otherwise could feel pretty cheap unless it's minimal damage

You should be able to counter that QTE by grabbing one of those buttons and throw it in Kratos' face.

I thought the QTE was a nice touch.  Yeah I'm not going to think he's a good fit but fuck it he's fun to just throw in there.  At least he's not the Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur IV (FUUUUUUUCK).

@EmuLeader It's a video for Kratos' gameplay of course they are going to show him doing some sick kombos, doesn't make him overpowered. The reason why he is not allowed at tournaments is to keep parody with the 360 version. It would be unfair for tournaments to allow Kratos and having people who have never faced him or have never even seen him fight him.

I hope they add Pinky and the Brain as DLC characters since this is being made by WB.

We'll see how he plays in the actual game but he is looking pretty powerful here. The only thing is we don't know how much damage Kratos is actually taking off of his opponents.

He seems authentically brutal. Awful lot of special moves, which I like, and that Quick Time thing made me laugh in a good way. Him having the Apollo head-rip tattoo has to be a given... right?

@SquirrelGOD: Not really, quite the opposite in fact. I don't even like the GoW series, but one thing it definitely has in common with Mortal Kombat is how ridiculously violent it is, and I think Kratos fits right in with the MK karacters. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Haha, an actual QTE?  Well done.   It seems like Kratos is gonna be a motherfucker when it comes to ranged hits.  Those arrows, his reach, oof.
