Couldn't agree more, Netherrealms design sensibilities are really odd at times. I think their artists are just really stuck in certain ways of thinking that don't result in cool looking character models quite often.

I'm interested in the fighting game itself, but I'm put off by the designs. The overly-armored version of everybody looks kind of stupid - Batman is in some kind of power armor, so is Superman... MK vs DC looked much nicer, nice and simple.

Also weirded out by the lack of any DC identifying markers. Will Joe Walmart know what the hell an Injustice is without a specific sticker that says, "Now with Superheroes!"

Oh god, the voice acting sounds terrible, especially for the guy who plays the voice of Joker. I wish Mark Hamill would come back to play him again.

Other than that, the combat looks pretty cool.

Sure is weird that I got a spanish ad for Disneyland before this video. It had Buzz Lightyear in it so I wonder if maybe it was a joke about his spanish mode? Or maybe it's because I live in Tucson... Idk. Lex Luthor guys.

Awesome stuff! Joker's voice didn't sound great, but that's just because Mark Hamill was so awesome.

Am I the only one who hates green-suit Luthor whenever they see him? Lex Luthor isn't an interesting character because he can go hand-to-hand with the Man of Steel. And shoving him in a poorly-designed green "robot suit" only cheapens him as a character.

From an aesthetic point of view, at least make it more slim-fitting and modern looking. More like Iron Man and less like a COR BLIMY SPESS MEREEN.

The heroes in the actual comics wear armor instead of tights now. They aren't wearing power armor, just hardened plates and kelvar. It's just to make them look slightly more realistic as combatants.

This game looks really great.

It could be a good game, have to wait for the reviews to qualify that. As for my feelings on the designs, my personal opinions I'm iffy on Flash's suit ~ maybe Ming got to the designs, and when I saw Supes, I immediately thought of synthetic (cigarette tar) kyrptonite Superman from the 3rd movie after a few drinks and five o clock shadow (somebody get him to a junk yard stat). Again, just my personal 1st impressions, I'm receptive to a fair time of reviews.
